Dr. Miroslava Nedyalkova was a Fulbright Scholar at the School of Pharmacy of the University of Maryland in AY 2018-19. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry of Sofia University. In the US she collaborated with Prof. Alex Mackrell, a Grollman-Glick Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Director of Computer-Aided Drug Design Center. In her words: “The feeling of being selected as a research visitor for a Fulbright Scholarship was amazing. It was an excited journey since the first moment, staring with the application form.”
Dr. Julia Stoyancheva Stefanova was Fulbright Scholar at American University in Washington, DC, AY 2017 – 2018. Since 2011 she is a Senior Assistant Professor at the International Economics Section of the Economic Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The academic interests of Dr. Stefanova cover regional cooperation and consolidations among stock exchanges in Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, frontier and emerging stock markets integration, financial development, venture capital financing, fintech and various forms of development and sustainability financing.
