Webinar on Fulbright Grants for Bulgarian Students (MA and PhD)

Learn about opportunities to earn your MA or PhD in the United States through the Fulbright program! The competition for academic year 2022-23 is to open, with a deadline of May 21, 2021. Executive Director Angela Rodel and Program Officer Maria Kostova of the Bulgarian-American Fulbright Commission will present the grant opportunities with the help of recent and successful Fulbright graduates.

The webinar is free of charge and open to Bulgarian citizens of all ages!

Resource persons

Olga Ouzunova

Olga is a recent graduate from Fordham University in New York. After five years in the business, she did her Master’s degree in Media and Communications. Along with her studies, Olga did an internship in a Manhattan based newspaper and became a One World Ambassador. At present Olga is working as a communications specialist for a major food company.

Margarita Pavlova

Margarita is a graduate student at the University of Kansas, pursuing a doctoral degree in Psychology. She studies how different learning experiences (e.g., analogical comparison and self-explanation) affect understanding of study material and subsequent transfer of the obtained knowledge to new situations. During her time at KU, she has been an active member of the University of Kansas Fulbright Scholars Association, the Psychology Department Graduate Diversity Committee, the International Students Advisory Committee, and as of Summer 2020, she has been co-organizing an international seminar on analogy.
