Webinar: Fulbright Bulgaria Grants for Law Students (LLM)

On December 16 at 6 PM, Fulbright Bulgaria will be hosting a webinar for lawyers and law students interested in applying for an LLM (Master of Law degree) at a US university in academic year 2022-23. Fulbright Executive Director Angela Rodel and Program Officer Maria Kostova, as well as recent successful Fulbright LLM recipients, will discuss the application and selection process. The webinar is free of charge and open to Bulgarian citizens of all ages!

Resource Persons:

Ivan Genchev was born and raised in Sofia and is currently working as an independent lawyer with a focus mainly on IT companies and complex cross-border intellectual property and technology agreements. He holds a Master’s degree in French and European Law from the Sorbonne University in Paris and an LLM degree in International business and trade law from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, USA as a Fulbright scholar.

Evgeny Minchev is an Associate with the Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov & Velichkov law firm, focusing primarily on Competition and Energy law. Mr. Minchev holds a Master’s degree in Law from Sofia University (’16), as well as an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University (’18, with distinction), the latter of which as a Fulbright scholar. Mr. Minchev is actively involved with moot court competitions, particularly in public international law, as he is currently coaching the Telders team of Sofia University and also serves as the National Administrator for the Bulgarian National Rounds of Jessup.
