Ivan Genchev

Ivan Genchev is a registered lawyer with the Sofia Bar Association and an international legal consultant with nearly 15 years of experience in the fields of technology law, intellectual property, cross-border commercial transactions, and international tax planning. Ivan is a Fulbright scholar and holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of Illinois Chicago. He is also a graduate of Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, with master’s degree in European Union and International Economic law.

His work includes advising multinational corporations, growing companies, and startups across Europe and North America.

He is one of the co-founders of YNG Legal, a law firm providing legal services related to intellectual property protection, software licensing, and compliance with European legislation, including data protection and corporate governance. His professional experience includes a position as an Attaché at the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, as well as General Legal Counsel at Software Group AD or senior legal advisor for multinational companies such as DXC Technology and Cargill Bulgaria, where he was involved in negotiating numerous international agreements.
