Development units

This course awards 21 Contact Hours/PDUs recognized by the Project Management Institute. The 21 contact hours awarded by the training cover the amount of contact hours required to apply for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® exam. The PDUs awarded by the training may be claimed towards an already earned PMI certification as part of the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) Program.

What are Contact Hours?

To be eligible for the PMI-ACP® certification, candidates must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. Training in Agile Practices is one of them and 21 contact hours must have been earned in agile practices. This course awards 21 Contact Hours recognized by the Project Management Institute. More on the requirements is available here.

What are Professional Development Units (PDUs)?

Professional Development Units (PDUs) are one-hour blocks of time that you spend learning, teaching others, or volunteering. By accumulating and tracking these over a three-year period you can maintain your certification status with PMI. This course awards 21 PDUs recognized by the Project Management Institute. You can view how to align PDUs to the PMI Talent Triangle® here.
