Overview
This 3-day course covers in depth the latest Agile Practice Guide (2017) created by the Project Management Institute in partnership with Agile Alliance®, as well as domains, situational guidelines, tools and techniques and tasks included in the latest (PMI-ACP)® Examination Content Outline.
You will gain an understanding of the various agile approaches and the logic behind the exam. You will be tested with sample exam questions after each module of the course. The content meets the educational requirements of the Project Management Institute.

Development units
This course awards 21 Contact Hours/PDUs recognized by the Project Management Institute. The 21 contact hours awarded by the training cover the amount of contact hours required to apply for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® exam. The PDUs awarded by the training may be claimed towards an already earned PMI certification as part of the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) Program.
What are Contact Hours?
To be eligible for the PMI-ACP® certification, candidates must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. Training in Agile Practices is one of them and 21 contact hours must have been earned in agile practices. This course awards 21 Contact Hours recognized by the Project Management Institute. What are Professional Development Units (PDUs)?
Professional Development Units (PDUs) are one-hour blocks of time that you spend learning, teaching others, or volunteering. By accumulating and tracking these over a three-year period you can maintain your certification status with PMI. This course awards 21 PDUs recognized by the Project Management Institute. Cancellation and refunds:

- For bookings cancelled 15 days or more in advance, full participation fee is refunded.
- For bookings cancelled between 15 and 7 days prior to the course, 50% of the full participation fee is refunded.
- For cancellation 7 or less days prior to the course, the participation fee is non-refundable. Participants are given the opportunity to attend another edition of the PMP course.

Ivelina holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Strategic Development from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Sofia University. She spent her third semester of the master program at the Humboldt University of Berlin in Germany, one of Europe’s pioneering higher education institutions. Ivelina has 13+ years of experience across multiple industries, ranging from from startups to Fortune 500 companies, as well as organizations in the governmental and the NGO sector. She was part of the volunteering team that organized Project Management Summit Bulgaria 2019, the biggest conference dedicated to project management in Europe in 2019 and served as the Team Lead of the Marketing & Communications Team. Lyra initiated the Fulbright Project Management Program back in November 2016 and ever since she has felt personally responsible for the successful certification of each participant in the training. That is the reason she will be at your side from the moment you enroll for the training course until the test day – so that you have everything you need for a successful training experience and exam preparation.
As the person responsible for the PMP® Alumni Club meetings, she will be in touch with you to inform you about Project Management events, master classes and conferences.Lyra is a motivated volunteer and supporter of PMI® Bulgaria Chapter. She has contributed for the organization of Project Management Summit Bulgaria 2019 and the annual conventions of the General Assembly of the Chapter in 2020 and 2021. At present she is team lead of Program/Speakers team for the organization of Project Management Summit Bulgaria 2022.

You can apply, if you have 1-3 years of project management experience.
You can demonstrate that your agile team experience runs deep. Beyond knowledge and comprehension, demonstrate experience and applying agile methodologies. The PMI-ACP® is registered against the ISO 9001 standard.
Prerequisites for the PMI-ACP®
- Secondary degree
- 21 contact hours of training in agile practices
- 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years (a current PMP®or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP)
- 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years
