Neli Koleva

Advisor to the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria

Dr Neli Koleva is the Chief Officer of Public Parnterships at Teach for Bulgaria. She has been a member of the leadership team at the organization since 2011. Before joining Teach for Bulgaria, Dr Koleva taught English and American literature, comparative literatue, theory and practice of translation, English, French and German at Universite de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France and Rice University in Houston, TX, USA. She holds a BA is in American Literature and French from Middlebury College in VT, US. and a PhD in Comparative Literature from Rice University, TX, US. Dr Koleva teacher Social Entrepreneurship at the American University in Bulgaria’s EMBA program. She is currently serving as an advisor to the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria.
